First off, this irish pub located on Cary Street had a very interesting look like Celtic drawings on the ceiling and hard carved etchings into the bar. The booth that we sat in had a handmade stained glass window designed from wine bottles. The light fixtures were so unique looking. All of these Irish traditional touches added to the authenticity. The food was amazing. My husband had fish and chips while I had Bangers and Mash. Of course, Bangers and mash is a quintessential British dish of sausage and mashed potatoes, typically served with onion gravy. However, its roots extend to Ireland, where you'll find the dish in many local pubs. Thumbs up to the cook who cooked these dishes exceptionally well. The portions were generous while the prices were reasonable. For appetizers, we enjoyed their parmesan coated pretzels with beer cheese. Our food was prepared relatively fast. We didn't have to wait to be seated. The food arrived hot. The service staff was friendly and attentive. My favorite part is they have a wide selection of domestc and craft beers 🍻 on draft and I the bottle. I will definitely be back.

We stayed right across the street, and this place was very good. We went to dinner twice during our stay, and both nights the food was very good. Also, the service was on point. They have a nice patio you can eat outside on. Last night we ate there, the waitress talked us into dessert, which was so good. Snickers pie. The crust was amazing. Also recommended are the fish tacos and the turkey melt. Just be aware for the dessert, it is a big portion. 2-3 people could share, from what we were served. Definitely recommended if you're nearby and want lunch or dinner. If we're ever back in Richmond, we'd definitely go back here again! Thank you Siné and the staff! :)

Fish and Chips got a 10/10 from my family (parents are from England)!! Great place to go for hearty delicious well prepared meals. The decor held a lot of character making the dining experience fun for sit down meals with family.

From the moment you step onto the cobblestone street, you know you're entering somewhere different. Siné Irish Pub doesn’t just serve good food — it offers atmosphere, history, and a warm presence that wraps around you. I went alone, midday, and still felt as if the place was meant just for me: dark wood, soft lighting, a wide bar, and small, private tables. And if the weather allows, the terrace is inviting too. There’s something about the space that makes time slow down. It doesn’t rush you — it invites you to stay. I started with the Reuben Rolls — crispy and flavorful, paired perfectly with a cold Weihenstephaner. Then came the Breakfast Burger, topped with bacon and a fried egg cooked on both sides, served with thick-cut fries. Everything was made with care and depth of flavor. Then, a classic Guinness… and the perfect ending: a warm brownie with ice cream, and an Irish coffee. Now that coffee… it wasn’t just any coffee. Irish coffee is prepared in a way that draws out the subtle nutty essence of the bean — that’s its well-kept secret. It’s as if the coffee itself whispered: “sip me slowly… let me wrap around you.” An unexpected gem. The service was flawless. Whether for a date, with friends, or simply some solo reflection time, this is the kind of place you keep… and return to.

This place way exceeded our expectations! The food at this pub is spectacular! We were seated quickly and our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. We went for lunch during their $5 pitcher special which was incredible. We ended up getting about six glasses out of the pitcher, which was an incredible deal! The Irish Nachos were beautiful! The potatoes were the perfect mix of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and they did not scrimp on the toppings. We ordered the Shepherd’s Pie and Corned Beef and Cabbage for our meals. Both were very hearty and delicious. If you’re in the area and looking for a pub with high quality food for a great price, this is the place to be!

Great corned beef sandwich, shared the potato soup, and a delicious strong drink. Best of all great and friendly service. Really counted for extra after we'd just left our hotels restaurant without ordering. Will definitely visit Sine next time in RVA!

A Fantastic Irish Pub Experience! Sine Irish Pub is an absolute gem! The food is top-notch—especially the chicken tenders and fish and chips, which were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Pairing the meal with a nice glass of wine made the experience even better. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the outdoor seating is a great option for enjoying a relaxed meal with friends. The service was friendly and attentive, making the entire visit even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for great food, drinks, and a welcoming vibe, this is definitely the place to be. We were staying at a hotel across the street and walked over for lunch. It was a Monday so not too busy. Interior was very cool with a cozy and authentic Irish vibe. Service was excellent and my cheeseburger was cooked just right and my husband's fish and chips was a hearty serving and very tasty. Desserts looked really good so might have to go back and try one. Highly recommend!

We had a great visit! The Irish Nachos are a must for an appetizer! Staff was great. We had Fish N Chips. Their fish is fantastic! 2 large filets. Then Bananas Foster Bread Pudding, omg! Great way to finish a great meal! Pictured is the bread pudding.

Great spot to stop for a cold drink and delicious fish and chips. Fries were fresh and hot, and the fish was lightly battered. Tartar sauce is homemade there and has just the right kick of dill. Our waitress Jolee was so pleasant and attentive. Couldn't have had a better experience.
